Setting yourself up for success

Like a very famous book by David Bach (a great read), an easy and less strenuous method of getting to where you want to be is making it automatic. I call it “setting yourself up”.

The Automatic Millionaire: A Powerful One-Step Plan to Live and Finish Rich

Some things has to be left to luck and simply external influences, but the things you control, in order to invest less energy in daily activities has to be setup in a way that you have no choice to confront and get them executed everyday.

There is various ways and methods in order to get that done. Today, we will see one.
A popular and always reliable method is the “commitment”. The commitment is, for me, to make your 10K public and have other people rely or expect something out of it. Signing up for a class, joining a group of people with similar interest, writing a blog or a book will make your actions public and at the same time forces you to pursue your goal. You can also call it accountability. Working in the same field that you are striving to get to is a good start but if you are looking into getting the edge, the commitment is a great way to expedite your success and to complete your 10K actually faster.

Many tools are out there and over the course of our relationship, we will see many of them. Feel free to share yours.
