The cost of a lie

It takes a lifetime to build a reputation. It takes 5 minutes to ruin it. – Warren Buffett

We all know that lying is not the most effective method of escaping a bad situation. It comes with its load of burden and forgiveness is difficult to obtain afterwards. The truth hurts, but breaking a bond hurts even more.

But there is one more evil, one far worse than lying to someone else. That one thing that is even worse that lying to someone else, is lying to yourself. You are the only reason as to why you are where you are. If you are able to read this, no one else can be accountable for where you are. You have been a singular personality. You are ought to do something great in this world. Faking it until making it will eventually catch you.  You cannot escape who you truly are; We are wired to be a certain way. The best way to go about it is to accept who you truly are and to make the best out of our set of tools.
